## What a POA contains

A power of attorney identifies the grantor (principal), the agent (attorney-in-fact), the scope of authority, and often witnesses and the notarizing officer. For limited POAs (real estate, banking, healthcare), it also identifies the asset or institution.

### Is the redacted copy still a valid POA?

No — the redacted file is a copy for sharing or archive. The original signed POA remains in your master file and is the legally operative document.

### Can I add a "Redacted Copy" watermark?
