A postal address is a multi-component identifier: street number, street name, locality, postcode, region, and country. In legal and real-estate documents, addresses identify properties as well as individuals — sometimes both at once.
Addresses are personal data under GDPR and the Swiss FADP whenever they identify a private individual. They are also frequently confidential in commercial transactions.
Our analyzer recognizes address blocks spanning multiple lines, even when split across columns. It understands Swiss, French, German, Italian, Spanish, and US/UK formats. You can also add specific addresses to "Always Redact" terms for guaranteed removal.
