What's in a lease agreement (privacy-wise)

A typical residential or commercial lease includes tenant full name(s), home and contact addresses, phone numbers, email, employer details, prior addresses, references, bank/IBAN for direct debit, sometimes salary slips. Every one of these is personal data under GDPR and the Swiss FADP.

How long does a batch of 100 leases take?

Typically 5–15 minutes depending on page count. Each page is OCR'd, analyzed, and rasterized.

Can I keep landlord (my own) details visible?

Yes. Add the landlord name, address, and IBAN to "Excluded Terms" — they will never be auto-masked.

Is the original lease deleted from your servers?

You can delete originals immediately after download. Default retention is 30 days; API "ephemeral" mode deletes after processing.
