Phone numbers appear in dozens of formats: +41 21 555 12 34, (021) 555-1234, 021/555.12.34, even split across columns or footers. A "find and replace" approach misses most of them. Our detector validates against international (E.164) and national formats for major regions before masking.
Phone numbers are personal data under GDPR and often a direct contact channel that bad actors target.
